Iecee-cb system is a global mutual recognition system of electrical product safety testing results established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) organization for conformity testing and certification of electrical products (IECEE). The purpose is to reduce international trade barriers caused by the need to meet the certification or approval criteria of different countries. CB system realizes the mutual recognition of the test results of 19 categories of electrical I products, including batteries, household appliances, information electrical equipment, medical electrical equipment and so on, according to the IEC safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards of relevant electronic and electrical equipment approved by IECEE.
CB certification certificate provides evidence that representative samples of products have successfully passed the test, indicating that it meets the requirements of relevant IEC standards. The CB certification certificate and the corresponding CB test report together constitute a pass. The manufacturer can apply for the global certification of any national certification authority participating in the CB system. Generally, the re sample test can be exempted or reduced, and no additional test is required, which greatly shortens the cycle of products entering the market, reduces costs and accelerates product export. If you want to enter the market of some countries that do not have their own certification to sell battery products, CB certification can be used to indicate that the product has obtained international certification or approval.

1. For the application of CB test certificate, the following points should be noted:
(1) The application for CB test certificate can be submitted by the applicant to any "certification / approval" NCB of the product scope
(2) The applicant can be either a manufacturer or an entity authorized to represent the manufacturer.
(3)Applicants / manufacturers / factories located in countries without IECEE member bodies are required to pay an additional fee for each CB test certificate to compensate for the operating cost of the system. This - cost it will be collected by the NCB accepting the CB test certificate application and will be transferred to the account of IECEE.
(4)The applicant can ask NCB to test the products according to the national differences of the countries to which the products are sold.
2. The manufacturer shall obtain the product certification in the target market, including the following procedures:
(1) Submit an application to the NCB of the target country;
(2) CB test certificate;
(3) CB test report (may include country differences);
(4) Provide product samples to the NCB of the target market when required.
The purpose of requiring samples is to verify that the products are consistent with the products tested by the original certification NCB, and the national differences have been covered.
3.National differences
National difference is the difference between a national standard or regulation and the corresponding international standard. The national differences of all countries joining the CB system are submitted to the IECEE Secretariat and published in the CB bulletin.
4.CB does not need factory inspection
Step 1:
Application
1 Determine customer information;
2. Fill in CB application form;
3. Provide battery specifications and other data.
Step 2
Quotation
Determine the test time and corresponding expenses according to the data provided.
Step 3
Pay
After confirming the quotation, the applicant shall sign the filing application form and service agreement and pay the project fee.
Step 4:
Sample
Send samples to customers.
Step 5
Test
Conduct CB certification test on the applied products according to relevant testing standards.
Step 6
Report
The test passes and the CB report is completed.
Step 7
Certification
Submit the report to the certification body (NCB) and issue the CB certificate after passing the audit.
