UL is short for Underwriter Laboratories Inc. UL safety testing institute is the most authoritative organization in the United States and a large non-governmental organization engaged in safety testing and appraisal in the world. UL certification is a non mandatory certification in the United States, which is mainly the testing and certification of product safety performance. Its certification scope does not include the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) characteristics of the product. For different service categories of UL, UL marks can be divided into three categories: listed mark, classified certification mark and recognized component certification mark.
(1) The whole American market pays great attention to product safety; Amazon US station also requires some products to have UL certification; When consumers and purchasing units purchase products, they will choose products with UL certification marks.
(2) UL has a history of more than 100 years. The image of safety is deeply rooted in consumers and the government. If you don't sell products directly to consumers, middlemen will also require products to have UL certification marks to make products sell well.
(3) American consumers and buyers are more confident in the products of enterprises.
(4) More than 40000 federal, state, county and municipal governments across the United States recognize the UL certification mark.
