Electrical safety test
Forced discharge test
UN38. 3 certification
Test requirements

At the ambient temperature of 20 + 5 ° C, connect a single cell to a 12V DC power supply for forced discharge. The initial current provided by this DC power supply to each cell is the maximum discharge current specified by the manufacturer,
The specified discharge current is obtained by a load of appropriate size and power connected in series on the test cell. The forced discharge time (hours) of each cell is the rated capacity divided by the initial current (AMPS).
Results: during the test and within 7 days after the test, there should be no disassembly and no ignition.

UL certification
Test requirements

This test is applicable to the application of multi cell combination, such as battery pack
A fully discharged cell is forced to connect new cells of the same model in series. The number of new cells in series = the maximum number of series applications - 1. Five cells were tested after complete discharge at room temperature.
When the fully discharged cells are connected in series with a specific number of new cells, the formed battery pack is tested for short circuit. The positive and negative terminals are connected to the Cu line with resistance less than 0.1q. The test is terminated when the battery discharges until it catches fire or explodes, or until the temperature of the battery shell drops to close to room temperature.
Result: no fire, no explosion.

CQC certification
Test requirements

After the battery is discharged according to the discharge procedure specified by the manufacturer, reverse charge with 1ca current for 90min.
Result: no fire, no explosion.

CB certification
Test requirements

Discharge the battery to the discharge voltage specified by the battery manufacturer, and then charge it in reverse with 1ca current. The total time of forced discharge test is 90min.
Result: no fire, no explosion.
