Introduction to EU CE certification

"CE" mark is a kind of safety certification mark, which is regarded as the passport opened by the manufacturer and entering the European market. CE represents the European Union - (CONFORMITE EUROPEENNE), which is a European compulsory certification. CE mark is the "pass" for products to enter the markets of EU countries and EU free trade association countries. Any regulation (involved in the new method directive) Products, whether produced outside the EU or in EU Member States, must meet the requirements of directives and relevant coordination standards and be affixed with CE mark before being put on the EU market in order to circulate freely in the EU market.

Importance of CE certification for batteries

For example, the safety requirements of many terminal products (such as batteries) should be considered in order to better meet the safety requirements of the terminal products. The CE certification of battery products by the EU designated agency can maximize the trust of consumers and market supervision institutions, and effectively prevent the occurrence of irresponsible allegations. In the case of litigation, the CE certification certificate of the EU designated institution will become technical evidence with legal effect.

CE certification process of battery

step 1

Application

1. Fill in the application form

2. Application company information form

3. Provide product information EMC: (circuit diagram + instruction manual) LVD: circuit diagram + manual + b.o.m + label (nameplate) + shell size diagram + PCB board diagram + component certificate + motor (depending on the product) + transformer specification, etc. (depending on the product)

4. The number of product samples depends on the specific situation

Step 2

Quotation

Determine the test standard, test time and corresponding expenses according to the data provided

Step 3

Pay

After confirming the quotation, the applicant shall sign the filing application form and service agreement and pay part or all of the project fee

Step 4

Testing

The laboratory carries out a full set of tests and difference tests of relevant models on the applied products according to relevant EU testing standards

Step 5

Report

The test passed and the report was completed

Step 6

Crtification

CE certificate will be issued after the project is completed. The manufacturer shall keep the CE product type test report.

Preparation of CE certification data for batteries

1. Name and address of the manufacturer (EU authorized representative (EU authorized agent) AR), product name, model, etc;

Product instructions

3.Safety design documents (including key structural drawings, i.e. design drawings that can reflect the climbing distance, gap, number and thickness of insulation layers);

4.Product technical conditions (or enterprise standards) and establishment of technical data;

5.Electrical schematic diagram, block diagram and circuit diagram of the product;

6.List of key components or raw materials (please select products with European certification mark);

7.Test report;

8.Relevant certificates issued by EU authorized certification authority NB;

9.Registration certificate of products in EU (if any);

10.CE declaration of conformity (DOC)。
