Test requirements

UL certification
Test requirements

The positive and negative electrodes of each test battery sample are short circuited with Cu wires with resistance < 0.1 Ω. The battery is discharged until it catches fire or explodes, or until the battery is completely discharged and the shell temperature drops to room temperature again.
。The tests were carried out at room temperature and 55 + 5 ° C respectively. The battery was short circuited after reaching equilibrium and stability with the environment at room temperature and 55 + 5 ° C.
Unless the manufacturer indicates series or parallel connection, the battery shall be tested separately. For series or parallel applications, another five sets of batteries need to be tested. The maximum number of batteries used depends on the number of series / parallel used.
When there is an overcurrent or thermal protection device in the battery and it has been UL certified, the battery shall be tested under the maximum load when the protection device is not opened, and the non certified protective device shall be short circuited.
Result: there is no fire or explosion, and the temperature of the shell or battery shell does not exceed 150 ° C.

CQC certification
Test requirements

After the battery pack is fully charged, place it in the environment of 20 ° C + 5 ° C and 55 ° C + 5 ° C respectively, short circuit the positive and negative terminals of the battery pack, and the total external short-circuit resistance is 80m Ω + 20m Ω. The battery pack with the protection circuit removed or without the protection circuit is short circuited for 24h, and the battery pack with the protection circuit retained is short circuited to the protection circuit.
Result: no fire, explosion and liquid leakage.
